This morning I read a bible verse that awakened in my heart. I have read it many times before but this morning it lit up. When that happens I get excited because I know God is talking to me and is about to give me a new understanding about something. I read the verse from Immerse Reading Bible Messiah that I recommended at church yesterday,  Here is how it is written in this book.

“Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need. So don’t be afraid little flock. For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the Kingdom.”

This comes from Matthew 6:33-37 but what exactly does this mean. This means when we focus our lives on bringing God’s Kingdom into this world, like sharing our faith with others, feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, loving the unloved, we are bringing the reality of God’s Kingdom to others. When we are making this a priority in our life, God will supply us what we need to continue that effort. Too often I have heard this verse preached on in a way that stresses that God is going to give us what we personally need if we become his disciples, although there may be some provision for us as we do his work, I think what he is stressing here is that he will supply what ever is necessary for us to expand his kingdom.

The perfect example of this is Bob and Judi Bertels and African Vision of Hope. God continues to bless their efforts with donations and people, and resources because they are bringing God’s Kingdom to the orphans in Zambia. They had absolutely no idea how they would be able to help just one orphan when they first started but look at what God has done so far through them and their volunteers. 3000 orphans are now being fed and clothed and given an education.

Whenever you are ready to step out in faith and share God’s Kingdom in this broken world, as God calls you to do, he is going to be with you and help you. He will supply what ever you need to expand his kingdom. That includes courage, faith, and hard resources. Will it be easy?  Read about Jesus’ and the disciples lives. NO it will not be easy, but it won’t be boring either! When you have God working with you, how could it be any better than that?

George Mueller was a man that stepped out in faith to bring God’s Kingdom to orphans in Germany, he believed in prayer and knew God would supply what ever he needed to bring his kingdom to the orphans he was serving. Praise Community Fellowship is an all volunteer Christian family that meets twice a month. Because we have no building and no salaries we can use our offerings to reach outside the walls of a church building and into our community and the world helping those with need. We believe in discipleship, that we are all called to be Jesus to those hurting around us. We have no membership requirements. We believe if you like what we stand for and what we are doing in the community and the world you will want to join us on our mission of No Walls. If you want to learn more about us go to our web page and sign up for this blog at https://praisecommunityfellowship.com
