We welcome you this Sunday to our gathering. We meet at 10:30am at 800 North Main Street Edwardsville in the Immanuel Methodist Church.

Please remember to bring your Beverly Farm Gifts. Krista and Lori will be taking them to get ready for Christmas at the farm. We are an unaffiliated Christian Church that believes in the life changing power of Gods love through His son Jesus.

We gather to learn, to love, to share, to lift up one another, to discuss and explore all that God has for us. We find great comfort in coming together as a family so that we can share our love with one another and help one another through the trials of life. It is so important to have a faith based family that you can count on when life gets tough, and it gets tough for all of us at times. A faith based family is dependent on the power of the Holy Spirit which gives Strength, Peace, and Wisdom from the creator of the universe, the ultimate source of truth.

Our prayer concerns:

Prayers to all people who are lonely, sad, depressed, fearful, unhappy, broken. May the truth and power of God come to you this Christmas season so that you may find peace and love.

Kenneth Brodzinski, Alexis Tharp’s uncle has been diagnosed with throat cancer after going to the hospital for pneumonia.  God we ask for intervention, for peace, wisdom, and healing.

Kip Goff’s Father Willard Goff passed away this past week. We lift up Kip and Cindy and their family to God’s peace and love during this time of sorrow.

Cathy Watson’s mother Josephine Johnson has been moved into hospice care. Please lift Josephine into Gods presence. Cathy also has a sister trying to recover from a stoke. We lift up Josephine to Gods Peace and her sister Peggy to Gods healing hands.

Donna Bowers: Praise report! Donna has finished her treatments and is doing well. I’m sure there will be some follow up visits but praise God she is feeling much better and is on the road to full recovery. That is a nice Christmas present.

Willow, Mary and Lee Knapps great grand daughter only a couple of months old has had to have a feeding tube put in because she has not been able to eat because of a deformity in her palate. We pray for Gods healing hands on Willow and her family.

Faye Heuchert, please continue to pray for Faye as she continues to recover from her brain surgery.

Devin Meyers, Devin is a young man from Brighton who was involved in a very serious accident. He still needs our healing prayers.

Hershel Prater  Hershel was a middle school art teacher for many years in the Edwardsville school district. He has moved to Rosewood care center for rehab this week. Please continue to lift him in prayer for healing and Gods strength and peace.

Revival comes when people get dissatisfied with what is and yearn deeply for what could be! But the power to change comes from prayer and the Holy Spirit. Prayer initiates the connection to God’s Kingdom and the Holy Spirit comes to direct and manage. Our part is to step out in faith and do what He directs us to do.

See you Sunday at 10:30. Love, pastor Kent
