Today’s thought comes from:
John 8:31-32 “So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
The question is, “What is the truth we need to know that will set us free?” In the simplest form the answer is Love. Love is the truth that will set you free. In the book of 1 John 4:8 we read, “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. But how do we know God? By getting to know Jesus and His teachings. In John 14:7 we read, “If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” We need to know Jesus and all that He taught. Jesus is love, He is the way, the truth, and he holds the key to eternal life. Jesus and His teachings will set you free!
This coming Sunday pastor kent and Praise Community Fellowship will be leading the service at 8:45am at 800 North Main Edwardsville.

Jennifer Kaburik as she has started her Chemo treatments. We pray for God’s strength and healing and quick recovery.
Juanita Bean Donna Bower’s mother, is in intensive care and needs God’s healing and peace. We pray for Juanita and Will and Donna as they go through this time of concern.
Linda Cassens continue healing prayers for Linda who has been battling bladder cancer and continues treatments.
Pete Fornof continue prayers for Pete as he is dealing with a very rare form of cancer. He has begun treatments and needs God’s strength and power.
Pastor Jackie healing prayers as she continues her treatments for skin cancer and recovers from the surgeries.
Continued prayers and praises for Cathy Watson as she continues to recover from cancer.
Prayers for the ministry of Praise Community Fellowship and Immanuel Methodist asking for God’s guidance and wisdom so that we can become more effective for His Kingdom.
