We are meeting EVERY SUNDAY for the rest of 2019. We gather at 10:30am at 800 North Main Street Edwardsville in the Immanuel United Methodist Church.

This Sunday we will be looking at an 8 word scripture that has immense significant meaning for our lives.

An Idea:  Start praying about a young family that you can start bringing to church. Let the Holy Spirit open the door for you.

When someone new comes to our service:  Greet them, introduce yourself, don’t let them sit alone. Love them. Tell them about PCF. Ask them if they have questions after the service. Tell them about the blog so they can stay informed. All we need is an email to get them on the blog. Introduce them to me after the service.

The PCF singers will be leading our worship with their beautiful voices and a couple of new songs.

We will be collecting a special offering for a very special person Todd Schultz.  Todd founded the organization Painting the Town Gold when he was only 14 years old and was diagnosed with cancer himself. Painting the Town Gold benefits cancer research for children. Todd is still battling Cancer and he and his family are in need of help now even though they will never ask. So the special collection this Sunday will be to Help Todd and His family.

IMPORTANT DATE:  Mark your calendars, after our worship service on December the 8th you and your family and friends are invited to a catered meal provided by DK’s Market down in the fellowship hall. We want to celebrate all the blessings God has shown us. We are also inviting our friends from Immanuel Methodist.

November the 3rd there will be a short meeting after the worship service for anyone interested in exploring ways to help young pregnant moms that have needs for their new baby. Savannah Halbe came up with this idea and I think it is an excellent way to reach out into the community to show Gods love. We are looking for ways to get more young people involved in our church family and this may be a perfect way to achieve that goal. If you are interested in sharing ideas please join us.

Pray for one another.  Pray for our church. Read your bible and stay connected to the vine because the vine is the only way to keep your spirit alive!

See you Sunday! Love, pastor kent
