PCF has a new Sunday morning time slot. We will now meet at 10:30am. on Sunday’s. However, we are not going to meet every week yet until Bonni and I can be sure that we can make that work on a regular basis. Therefore our next service will be on September 23rd at 10:30am. I will keep you posted on times and dates on this blog. If yo have friends or family that would be interested in our services be sure to forward the info about this blog to them.
Raise the Praise Community Choir will kick off this Thursday Sept. 13th at 7:00pm in the sanctuary. Everyone is invited to be part of this Thursday evening worship. We will pray, sing and have fellowship. This is not a rehearsal! This is for anyone who enjoys worshipping with a big choir and people who just want to sing to the Lord. Bonni and I are looking forward to see what God has in store for this gathering. We hope you will join us on this worshipful adventure. Come to Thursday night Praise!
God’s Peace In the book of Genesis it says that God created man in His own image. Far too many Christians today however have created a God in their own image! They have made a God to their liking, a God that suits their beliefs and their ways of living. If we fall into that trap, we will not receive the true God’s peace. We are instead worshipping a false idol that cannot hear us, nor bless us. We must return to the one and only unchanging God of the Bible. You get to know Him by reading about Him in the bible. That is where He is revealed. The one true God of the universe is all powerful unlike the God that many have created for themselves. I have heard people say, I don’t like some of the things the bible says about God and how He acted at times. The true God of the bible is always just and always loving and there is no compromising on any of His attributes. He is perfect in every way. It doesn’t matter what some preachers preach, or what you think, or what half the society thinks. There is one God and He has not and will not change. You can create any little made up God you want, one that fits your needs and one that you feel perfectly good about but you must understand that all you have done is create a lifeless idol with absolutely no power to help you in any way shape or form. The God of your creation will not hear your prayers nor will it have any power to give you peace or strength or wisdom when the problems of life come your way. The real God of the bible is all powerful, all knowing, and will walk with you everyday! I’m sticking to the God of the bible! I hope you will too. There is power in Gods word! This is what God’s word says:
Isaiah 43:10 “You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord, “and my servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor shall there be any after me.
Exodus 20:30 “You shall have no other Gods before me!”
1 Corinthians 8:6 . yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.
John 17:23 “ And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.”
