We do have a new time slot of 10:30am Sundays but as I have mentioned before Bonni and I are not prepared to go every Sunday at this time. We still have some planning and business travel to get through. I will keep you posted on this blog of our schedule. Our next meeting will be Sunday September 23rd at 10:30am. Everyone is invited to attend IUMC services at 8:45am every Sunday.
Last Nights Raise the Praise Kickoff. We had a decent turnout with more people interested in joining us. There still seems to be some confusion on what this group is all about. Very simply it’s for anyone who is interested in worshipping God with music. If you don’t sing that’s ok too because there are some who come just to hear the music, the prayers and the testimonies. Last night Jennifer Kaburick gave her testimony and moved everyone present. We are not defining what this service is because we are allowing the Holy Spirit to guide us as we gather to sing and praise Jesus. Will there be a concert? Maybe, but that is not the purpose at this time. Bonni and I have already had some requests for this group to do a concert but at this time we are just seeing how the Holy Spirit will lead us. Everyone is welcome. This group meets Thursdays at 7:00 and we finish at 8:30.

Ela Kuba, this past week little Ela fell at school and broke her arm. She had to have pins put in because it must have been a pretty severe break. We lift up Ela and ask God for healing and comfort.
Leland and Mary Knapp are both having some health issues and need Gods healing touch and peace.
Linda Klingle . Linda and Steve moved to South America a little over a year ago but they are coming back home to Edwardsville because Linda has developed a rare autoimmune disease which is affecting her organs. We pray for God’s healing and Peace for Linda and Steve as we also welcome them back to Edwardsville.
Pete Fornof Please pray for God’s healing touch and for strength as he continues his treatments.
Mike Portell continued prayers for Mike’s healing and recovery from surgery.
Linda Cassens Linda will need more tests regarding her bladder cancer. We pray for God’s healing touch for her.
Pastor Jackie healing prayers as she continues her treatments for skin cancer and recovers from the surgeries.
