The Gift of Shoes! Praise Community Fellowship is in the process of giving away 60 gift certificates to Shoe Carnival for children”s shoes. Most of our certificates are going to our TWIGS kids.

Our next service is NOT this Sunday! It is December the 9th at 10:30am.

Tomorrow at 4:00pm Come help pack TWIGS lunches. You saw the video of our volunteers and the fun they have packing the 500 lunches. This happens only one time a month and takes about an hour if there a plenty of volunteers. Show up in the church basement at 4;00 tomorrow afternoon.

Beverly Farm Christmas tree of names.  Each year Lori and Krista bring our church about 50 names of residents at Beverly farm who have no relatives so we buy Christmas gifts for them. This year since we are having only two services in December, Sally McLaughlin, who manages this project, asks that if you are interested in taking a name or two to please call her so she can get you the details. We will need the gifts wrapped and back at church by the 23rd which will be our final service for the year. You can call Sally at 618-978-3490 if you would like to participate in this project.

NO WALLS!  My goal as pastor of this amazing group of people is to be a catalyst to helping people connect with Jesus and who He is by motivating people to read their bibles and teach the bible in a way that motivates people to live their lives as a demonstration of Jesus’ love to all the people we interact with everyday. Being kind and giving and forgiving brings energy and joy into the world. You can begin practicing this kind of life right now, right where you are. It’s an amazing truth that when you are ready to surrender you hurts, your anger, your frustrations, your disappointments, and your brokenness to God, He will step in and help you heal in an amazingly efficient and effective manner. Here is a GOLD NUGGET of truth for you! No matter what the cause of your suffering, you can receive God’s Peace as soon as you are willing to let go of all of your expectations, must haves, and outcomes. Let go of what you think you have to have to be happy and allow God to fill you with His blessings. His peace will follow! Then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free!

Our prayer list:

Walt Williams  Please continue to pray for Walt and Mary Ann as He continues to battle cancer.

Ann Culp, continued prayers of healing and peace for Ann and Mike and her family.

Linda Klingel is still in need of our prayers as she continues her treatments for an autoimmune disease. Please pray for Linda’s strength and for God’s blessing and Peace.

We are the Church with NO WALLS! Praise Community Fellowship is an all volunteer Christian family that meets twice a month.  Because we have no building and no salaries we can use our offerings to reach outside the walls of a church building and into our community and the world helping those with need. We believe in discipleship, that we are all called to be Jesus to those hurting around us. We have no membership requirements. We believe if you like what we stand for and what we are doing in the community and the world you will want to join us on our mission of No Walls. If you want to learn more about us go to our web page and sign up for this blog at https://praisecommunityfellowship.com

See you soon! Love, pastor kent
