To have the fullness of Jesus is to have the fullness of Love, Peace, Compassion, and Joy. When our lives are not reflecting these we need to realize that there is something blocking Jesus’ power in our lives. It is my experience that in this life it is hard to consistently walk in the fullness of Jesus’ Grace and Power. I believe it’s because of what the bible calls the deceiver, the ruler of this world.

1 Peter 5:8-9 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

It is so easy to get negative and angry, and skeptical in this world. But, there is a choice and a tool that we have been given to combat these feelings.

Prayer is the weapon we have been given to open the space in our hearts and souls to keep the fullness of Jesus’ power in our lives. Prayer takes tenacity to make it effective. Effective prayer often requires an all out battle to achieve its full effect. Jesus prayed frequently and many times for long periods of time!  That should tell us just how important and powerful and necessary prayer is. You can begin changing the outcome of your life and the outcome of the lives of the people you love by becoming a person of prayer. Prayer is a discipline that requires time and effort and focus. It isn’t easy but the there is nothing more important than utilizing this power given to us by God.

If you are wanting to move mountains and walk on water, then delving into the power of prayer is where you want to be concentrating your efforts.

  • If you are worried….PRAY.
  • If you are upset….PRAY.
  • If you need help….PRAY.
  • If you are lonely….PRAY.
  • If you are confused and need direction…PRAY
